Toowoomba Grammar School Legacy Collection

As part of our ongoing commitment to Toowoomba Grammar School we have begun crafting a TGS legacy collection of fine jewellery pieces in coordination with the school's annual Women of Grammar event.

Each year the lucky winner recieves a private design experience with TGS Old Boy, Lachy Hogan, to create a bespoke Women of Grammar jewellery piece symbolising their connection to the school. This one of a kind creation will be crafted using blue and golden sapphires to represent the colours of TGS, and it will become part of the official TGS Women of Grammar signature collection while remaining the winner's personal property.

The TGS Women of Grammar Signature Collection was inaugurated in 2025 with the exquisite Jo Kinniburgh Brooch, which was generously gifted as an heirloom to the School. The inaugural piece will remain in the school’s ownership, to be worn by the headmaster or his wife, Jo Kinniburgh whilst representing TGS at
very special occasions and will be handed on to future Headmasters/Headmistresses of the school.

We look forward to watching this collection grow in the years ahead as the Women of Grammar Lunch becomes a cherished annual tradition and Hogans commitment to legacy with TGS continues.

150 Jo Kinniburgh Brooch

Crafted in 18k yellow and white gold, the brooch is a one-of-a-kind heirloom that captures the essence of Toowoomba Grammar School’s milestone celebration. From its symbolic use of the school’s iconic blue and gold colour palette to the intricate details featuring natural Australian yellow diamonds, Australian blue sapphires, and a TGS crest inlaid with enamel, every element has been thoughtfully designed to tell a story. Intended to be passed down from one headmaster or mistress to the next, the brooch stands as a tribute to the school’s past, present, and future.
