An event created to connect our community through art, the inaugural art exhibition, Facets of Fairholme, has been held at the College since its 100-year milestone. Now in its 10th year, Facets Fairholme Open Art Prize presents a carefully selected and thoughtfully curated presentation, inviting a shared conversation, artistic expression, and audience engagement. From painting, sculpture, and drawing to digital art, video, and photography, the exhibition provides local, regional, national, and international artists an exciting opportunity to exhibit their works in a refined, boutique setting.
Commencing on opening night with an elegant evening of art, connection, and celebration, followed by an Artists in Conversation Breakfast, where our very own Master Jeweller, Lachy Hogan, shared his insights into what it means to be a creative in the jewellery industry, and a live portrait competition, with a talented line-up of artists bringing their style and flair to an interpretation of Rowena Hogan.
Facets is more than an art prize, it’s a celebration of artistic excellence, education, and community. The exhibition embraces a diverse selection of works from emerging and established artists across Australia and beyond, with up to 200 pieces carefully selected and professionally presented by Fairholme’s Curatorial Team.
We invite you to browse a gallery of photos from the event, one in which we are proud to support as this year's opening night event sponsor, as fellow creatives and artisans.
