Design and Manufacture

Hogans Jewellers have a fully equipped modern Workshop on the premises, staffed by four talented craftsmen with over 125 years’ combined experience. The newest member of the Workshop, Lachlan Hogan, is proving himself to be a very capable young jeweller, and we are confident to be able to provide custom-made jewellery of the highest standard, using only quality diamonds and precious gemstones.

Re-Modelling

A large portion of the manufacture and design side of the business is re-modelling our Customers’ jewellery. So often a special piece is in need of updating or upgrading, or is just plain worn out. Here is the opportunity to breathe new life into jewellery that is important to you. Using the diamonds or gemstones from your old piece of jewellery, we will sit down with you and help to create something to keep it special. Whether it be an exact replica or a whole new design - this is an area in which we excel.

Repairs

As with all things precious, care needs to be taken in order to make your jewellery last. Before a jeweller becomes a true craftsman, he needs to know how to repair the most intricate of jewellery. So it goes without saying that our craftsmen are well-practised in the art of repairing and renovating jewellery. When you bring your jewellery to us for repair, you can rest assured that it is being attended to by experienced hands. Our Jewellers have been working with jewellery long enough to know that the only way to repair a piece to the highest standard is to give it the same care and attention we would to a new creation.

Cleaning services

Part of our repair service includes checking, cleaning and polishing. Often this is all that is needed to freshen up that favourite piece. All jewellery that is purchased from Hogans is cleaned free of charge for life.

Valuations

Valuations for Insurance purposes are provided free on request for items over $1000 which have been purchased at Hogans. We also facilitate a valuation service by an independent valuer at realistic prices. Bookings are necessary.
